The Secret Banker's view

UBS turned my reader away on the earlier visit, so I went back in person, which is to say in a browser. The UK pages state no minimum, no fee and no entry test; the become-a-client page asks only whether the account is for the United Kingdom, Jersey or Switzerland. The American small print is more forthcoming: ultra high net worth is 'typically defined' as $10 million or more in investable assets, and the family office team starts at $50 million of net worth. The FCA's file shows UBS AG opening 601 complaints in the first half of 2026, with 61.69% upheld.
